Lots of change...

Wow, so much has happened since I last wrote.. First, we went on our cruise. We had a great time!
We went and saw my niece and nephew in Tampa. That was awesome!
We've also been keeping 2 kids from my school. I'm very grateful that my husband has been ok with this decision. These kids needed somewhere safe to stay, so we are helping. While doing this good deed, we've decided we want to be foster parents for kids who need help. I'm very excited about this new adventure in our lives.
I'm sure some people in my family probably think I'm crazy for keeping two kids that aren't mine, but it has been an eye opening and very rewarding experience!  I absolutely love keeping them, even with all the stares we get when we go places with the kids. I know you don't normally see a white couple with 2 black children, but to me, color doesn't matter. They love us and trust us and we love them back. All they really need is someone to love them, so that's what we are giving them. (Along with some great life experiences they otherwise would not be getting)
I am going to be very sad when/if they leave us. I don't know what the future holds for this situation, but I'm just trusting God to keep them in a safe place where they are happy and taken care of.

I have such an amazing husband for helping me with them and doing it with a smile on his face ! :)
