Holy Hormones!!

Well, First I have to complete my last blog. I never  put Corbin's stats in it...
He was born at 1:33 pm on May 15, 2012. He weighed 5 lbs 6 oz. He was 17 in long. And he got a 9 on the APGAR score.

ok...

My hormones seriously need to chill out!
I cry over every little thing! Sunday I took a shower and after I dried my hair, it still looked oily. So, I cried.
The other night, I forgot to burp Corbin before I laid him back down. When he started crying, Justin went over and  picked him up and he burped. I felt like a horrible mom. So, I cried.
Tuesday night, I fed him, and I was changing him and he peed all over his clothes, me, his face, EVERYTHING. I started crying. I kept thinking, "How can I be so horrible at this???" I thought becoming a mother would be natural... There is so much I don't know how to do! I definitely haven't figured out how to run off of no sleep...

Justin is leaving in one week. This scares me. He is the only person that helps me out with Corbin. He changes him 99% of the time. I don't know what I'm going to do when he leaves!

Doctor Appointment Update:
On Monday, he was 5 lbs 4 oz. Almost back up to his birth weight!
He still looked a little jaundice, so we had to take him over to the hospital to have his level checked. I fed him right before we went in and he slept the whole time. I was so glad too!
The results came back normal and we just have to go back when he is two weeks old for another weight check.

We went to Raleigh on Tuesday for his newborn shoot. I was really hoping he would sleep the whole time, but he had other plans! lol
At least we got some good shots with his eyes open!

Yesterday (Wednesday) we went to Greenville and picked up his birth certificate. That was exciting!
We are going to Jacksonville today to register him in DEERS for the military insurance.

I will be flying to Florida June 2 and staying until June 10. I'm so excited, but scared at the same time. Justin will already be in CT, so it will be good for me to go to FL with my sis and her kids.

Well, Corbin is up, so it's feeding time :)
