Today you turned 3 months old! I can't believe how fast you are growing up. You are holding your head up really good now. Every now and then you are still a bobble head though :)
You can still wear some 0-3 month clothes, but you are quickly growing out of them! You fit into some3-6 months clothes this week.
We are still breastfeeding on demand. You no longer need to use the shield! Mommy is so proud of you! About two weeks ago I took it off and you nursed perfectly without it and we haven't used it since! We went to NC and saw our family 2 weeks ago. You sure do love "talking" to your Gommie and smiling at her. She loves it too. Your Granddaddy George finally started playing with you on this past trip. Before, you were too small for him! lol You loved it when he played pat-a-cake with you.
You still love your MAM paci when you get fussy. I always go over the "check list" before you get it though. I make sure you aren't hungry or you need a new diaper. Usually you want it so you can go to sleep. You haven't had any bottles this month. You are nursing so good!
You started sleeping 6-7 hours straight this past week. Mommy and daddy are very happy about that! You like to go to bed between 7-8pm and get up around 2-3am. You nurse, get a diaper change, and go right back to sleep for another few hours.
We went to a La Leche League meeting last night. It was our first meeting. You really liked to stare at the pretty lady sitting beside us. Her name was Lisa. You just kept staring at her and smiling. . We are going to go to lunch with her next Tuesday. You were a really good boy during the meeting until you got sleepy around 7:30pm (your bedtime). I walked you around and you went to sleep. Everyone there thought you were so cute and adorable. (which you are!)
We got you a tummy time pillow with toys on it, but you still don't like tummy time. I guess you just don't want to learn how to roll over or crawl! lol You sure do love your play mat your Gommie got you though. You will play on that thing for 20-30 minutes at a time now! You love hitting the frog and the elephant and catching the rings in your little fingers.
You do NOT like your swing. I don't understand why, but you hate it. You rather I rock you and snuggle with you.
You love for us to take you outside on the balcony of our apartment and swing. You would swing all day if we let you. It usually puts you right to sleep.
You will not go to sleep by yourself. You like for someone to rock you or lay with you in bed. I don't blame you, because I don't like to sleep alone either.
You sleep in mommy and daddy's bed every night. You like to sleep in between us and snuggle up against one of us. One night this week it was daddy and last night you snuggled with me.
You are finding your voice. You love to coo! And you love to smile when we talk to you or when we rub your chin or cheek. We love your smiles.
You are losing your hair. It's just in the spots that you lay your head down the most. It looks funny to me. I hope you get more new hair soon! I wonder what color it will be???
Daddy is working very long hours, but he loves it when he comes home and gets to rock you to sleep. He does it on the weekends too.
You are growing so fast! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!!!!
