Corbin has been one tough boy these past few days! He is getting up every 2-3 hours at night and only napping for a short period of time during the day. I try to nap during the day while he is napping, but when I finally relax and fall asleep, he's waking up. I'm just so tired! My back has been hurting so bad lately. I don't know why but it hurts to move. I try to stretch it, but it just hurts worse. It really hurts when I'm holding Corbin or walking around holding him.
Justin has still been getting home really late. I'm lucky if he gets home before 9pm. Which means I take care of Corbin by myself all day, every day. It's wearing me down. I need help around 7pm when he's getting tired and my patience is gone. I hate getting frustrated with him. I feel so bad about it. Corbin screams when he's over tired and he just won't go to sleep. If I try to cuddle him or rock him, he pushes me away. If I put him down, he screams even louder. If I try to nurse him, he just screams with my boob in his mouth and he won't latch. I just don't know what to do sometimes. I just really wish Justin could come home and help me. I feel like I'm losing my sanity!!!
Anyway.. enough complaining... I went to a La Leche League meeting yesterday morning. I had fun. I enjoy going to them. I stayed there for almost 3 hours. Corbin was so good. He nursed and then slept for 2 hours.
We are meeting my parents in Baltimore on Saturday and going to the zoo then going to Six Flags on Sunday then Justin is coming back to CT on Monday and me and Corbin are going to go to NC for a few days. Even though everyone is back at work now, it will be nice to have my mama there in the afternoon and night to help get Corbin to sleep. That seems to be the most difficult part of the day for me. I'm very excited!
We went to church on Sunday for the first time with Corbin. He was awesome! He stayed awake during the singing and then fell asleep during the preaching. He wore his little sailor outfit and he was just precious. I really enjoyed that church and I hope we can go again when we get back from NC.
