New meaning to the word "Vacation"

Well, recruiting duty has giving me a new meaning to the word "vacation". Before Justin started recruiting duty, we would go on cruises as often as possible, Disney World, Cali, etc.... That was our vacation. Now, "vacation" means going with him when he goes to a special school! lol
We left CT yesterday and got to Quantico, VA last night around 10pm. Corbin was SO good on the drive down. I was so surprised!
Justin is taking a class here at Quantico all week and I'm super excited! Why, you ask?? Because he will be off by 5pm every afternoon! I'll actually get to see him every night before bed. Me and Corbin are just hanging out in the hotel all day and relaxing.

I learned how to use the Moby wrap last week and we absolutely LOVE it!!! It puts Corbin right to sleep and I can actually do things with both hands.

Well, this was the first time I wore him and I forgot that the bottom piece goes up over his bottom, so the next time I wore him, I got it right :)

Tomorrow, Corbin will be 8 weeks old! I can NOT believe he is that old already!!! Sunday, he will be 2 months old. He has his 2 month check up next Monday. I'm sure I will get fussed out by his doctors since I'm going to pass on getting him vaccinated. But as his mother, I have decided that this is the best choice for him at this time. I hope people will just allow me and Justin to make this decision and not have a fuss over it.  :)

After all, he is our child :)

My mama left last Wednesday, July 4th, to go back to NC. I'm sure she misses Corbin already! I had a lactation appointment and a WIC appointment on Thursday, so I was very busy! It is so hard leaving the apartment by myself with Corbin. That was the first time I had driven by myself and taken him out in public by myself. He screamed in the car the whole time. It was the first time he had to ride in the backseat by himself. He hated it and so did I!
Looks like I won't be going many places alone! lol
