Dear Corbin

Dear Corbin,
Today you are 7 weeks old! Where has the time gone??? It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital having you. You are the best thing that has happen to me and your daddy. We love you so much!!!
Last Thursday was the first time that you cooed and smiled (a real smile) at me. It made me so happy!
You have been holding your head up a lot more lately. I'm very proud of you!
You do not fit in your preemie clothes anymore. I had to pack them up last week. I teared up. Your newborn clothes fit just perfectly though :)
You are still in newborn diapers, but the tabs don't overlap anymore like they used to. I can definitely tell that you are growing!
Tomorrow is your first 4th of July. If your daddy gets off work in time tonight, we are going to go see the fireworks tonight.
Your Gommie is going home tomorrow. You have seen her for the past 7 weeks. We will see her again July 29.
You like to change clothes often during the day. And by that, I mean you like to pee and poop on your clothes and we have to change you! But I don't mind one bit! That's why I bought you so many clothes :)
You are still breastfeeding like a champ! I'm so happy we have that time to bond together. Your daddy gave you your first bottle of breast milk on Sunday and I cried. I was proud of you, but I was sad because that was always "our" time together. I don't think you will be getting many more bottles anytime soon. lol
I rather feed you myself. It makes me happy.
You are staying awake more during the day now. You played on your play mat for about 5 minutes today. That's a huge improvement from last week. Last week, I would lay you on it and you would scream!
You still don't like tummy time. When I lay you on your tummy only 2 things will happen: you will scream until I pick you up, or you will go to sleep.
I can't believe you are almost 2 months old!
I love you so much!!!!
