Milestones!

Well, things are calming down a little bit. I've enjoyed just staying at our house relaxing. I get overwhelmed when I have to leave the apartment. I don't know how to get around Danbury yet, so I t prefer to just stay home.
I had an appointment yesterday with a lactation appointment. It went great. I was really worried about it. I didn't know if the lady was going to be nice and patient or pushy with me. I am going to try to stop using the nipple shield and feed Corbin without it. We will see how it goes. So far, he hates not using it.
While we were at that appointment, I was changing his diaper and he cooed for the first time! I got so excited!!! He's done it twice since then too! Then, last night when we got home, he smiled for the first time! (He's smiled before but it was either in his sleep, or when he had gas) This one was a real smile!

We went to the CT zoo yesterday. Corbin slept the entire time. lol
Me and mama had fun though. I can't wait to take him when he's a little older so he can enjoy it too.
Corbin weighed 7 lbs 1 oz yesterday at the dr.

He had a horrible diaper rash over the weekend so I took him to the dr on Monday and he weighed 6 lb 15 oz.
He butt looks so much better now though. She gave us some cream to put on it and it's really helped!
